In a fight during the Battle of Norway, this Fortress near the capital of Norway destroyed the German battleship Bluecher.

Famous for sinking of German battleship "Blücher" in the early hours of WWII in Norway. It took the Germans over 12 hours to overtake the small castle, set in the narrow inlet to Oslo, the capital of Norway. Meanwhile, the Royal family and the Goverment of Norway got away, and later fought on the rest of the war from the U.K.
